ShoreTel ShoreGear SG-220T1 voice switch
The ShoreTel 220T1 Voice Switch is one of ShoreTel's top of the line ShoreGear switches. All in a compact half width 1U size, the SG-220T1 can support either 220 IP phones or a T1 line combined with 100 IP phones. In addition to ShoreTel IP Phones, the ShoreGear 220T1 also supports softphones and other SIP based devices and phones. The ShoreTel 220T1 is a half width switch allowing for higher IP phone and circuit densities than older ShoreGear voice switches. The SG-220T1 is a newer switch and has both music on hold and a paging audio port.
The switch can either support 24 RBS channels or 23B + D digital circuits. An integrated CSU is built into the ShoreTel 220T1 for circuit integrity. In addition, the ShoreTel 220T1 can support up to 220 SIP trunks without media proxy or up to 20 SIP trunks with media proxy.
